Plethora
Using water-soluble acrylic inks and opaque handmade oil paints, Anne Sutherland created a stunning floral still life of Japanese Iris, Ranunculus, and Poppies. A combination of watery leaves and stems with the defined elements of soft petals combine for a beautiful piece of art.
What Is a Giclee’ ?
The term “giclee” was coined in the early 1990s by professional printmaker Jack Duganne. Giclee printing is the premier method for fine art pieces because it uses the highest-quality archival materials and inks.
Superior in regard to color accuracy, tonal control, dynamic range and rendering fine detail, a printing method that delivers the best-quality results on materials that can be passed down from generation to generation, fine art giclee prints are a fantastic choice.
Once signed, labelled or numbered however, giclée prints can increase in value over time, as Artists gain more recognition.
Gallery Wrap
Gallery wraps are beautiful finished works of art – ready to hang. Printed on premium-artist grade canvas, the image is completely wrapped around the sides of a standard ¾” or sturdy 1½” thick stretcher bars, eliminating the need for framing. All Gallery wraps are finished with a durable clear Satin varnish coating that protects the surface while enhancing the richness and vibrancy of the colors. We even include the hanging hardware, so it couldn’t be easier! They really are an excellent value; you get the printing, stretching, coating, hanging hardware and a beautifully finished piece all for less than the cost of just one custom frame.
